Hi, my name is Avi. I’m a counsellor and a member of the Australian Counselling Association. I have experience in a wide range of settings working with young people and adults.
I work towards creating an environment that is safe, non-judgmental and has the client and their experience as the central focus. This is created through a friendly, empathetic and honest approach, which develops a rapport with the client, and is necessary for the therapeutic relationship and process. My counselling approach involves an interest in bringing the truth forward, and recognizing that it is often in the places that are difficult to look, that we will find our problem and solution.
