Mental Health Clinician & Counsellor
Keir is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, with over twenty years’ experience working in hospitals, community teams, rehabilitation centres and counselling services. Keir provides psychological health and wellbeing services to individuals (adults), families and couples from Eastbourne.
Keir sees people seeking support for more common challenges, such as low mood, a lack of direction or goals and relationship issues, right through to more complex presentations that may involve trauma, substance use and suicidal thoughts.
Prior to private practice, Keir was a member of the Victorian Dual Diagnosis Initiative, that was set up to provide expertise and advice to The Victorian Department of Health. Keir has held teaching roles at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and worked alongside Psychiatrists on the Crisis Assessment (CATT) and Substance Use and Mental Illness Treatment teams.
