Rachel’s areas of interest are to focus are Relationship & Family Issues, Work Related Stress, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), neurodiversity and working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Rachel works with adults, children, and adolescents and accept NDIS, Workcover and TAC patients. Rachel offers couples therapy and have participated in Certification Consultation Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, using Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her therapy work.
Rachel teaches practical skills that can be used on a day-to-day basis on how to relate securely in relationships and at work, breaking the cycle of harmful patterns that present with the areas mentioned above. Rachel understands that theory can only be useful if translated into practical realistic actions.
Rachel is dedicated to understanding patient’s individualised problems with complexity and thorough research. Rachel is skilled with complex presentations, especially patients that have a cross-section of co-occurring many diagnoses. Rachel understands that mental health is a puzzle that sometimes needs different pieces for the same issue.
